BOARD-&-TRAIN
An intensive, 2-week training program consisting of 12 private sessions with one of our certified trainers.
Board and Train (2 weeks)
Pricing: $1,950
An intensive, hands-on program with our experienced trainer while your dog stays at our esteemed facility for a two-week period, enjoying all of the socialization and play benefits of our normal award-winning boarding service. We do the heavy lifting, so you don’t have to!
What’s Included?
- Initial evaluation and meeting with your trainer to ensure your dog is comfortable at the facility and to discuss the training plan.
- 12 days of at least one hour of hands-on training.
- Daily text and email updates on your dog’s progress.
- A “Go Home” meeting when you pick your dog up where your trainer will review everything your dog has learned and teach you how to perform the training exercises.
- Two Private Training sessions (at your home) following the board-and-train to further ensure the training transfers to you and your home environment.
- Written notes for all training exercises.

We’re proud to offer this service at one of our locations!
Cheshire Bridge Location – 1918 Cheshire Bridge Rd, Atlanta, GA 30324 - Multiple indoor training rooms and outdoor training yards to help generalize your dog’s training to different environments and distraction levels.
What Will My Dog Learn?
- Our standard training program for dogs with little to no prior training includes proper leash walking, sit, stay with a release word, down, come, drop, leave it, and more!
- If your dog already has at least basic obedience level training – through a prior BHV Training Board-and-Train, Group Class, or Private Training (or other equivalent training) – you and your trainer will create a training plan that will build on your prior training to increase the difficulty and add new obedience training exercises like heel, waiting at the door, going to a “place” bed, and more!

TITLE: Director of Dog Training/Head Trainer
DOGS: Hazel – 8 1/2-year-old Pit Bull/Australian Cattle Dog/Beagle/Other Mix and Bandit – 5 1/2-year-old Staffordshire/Bulldog/Other Mix
EXPERIENCE: 10 years
CERTIFICATIONS: Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA); Certified Professional Canine Behavior and Training Master Instructor; Certified Behavior and Aggression Management Trainer; AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
FUN FACT: Was a (unhappy) practicing attorney until he brought home Hazel, a 2-month ball of fur, cuteness, and non-stop energy. She led him into a career that he loves and he’s never looked back.
TITLE: Facility Trainer
DOGS: Mama is a Pit Bull and is about 7 years old. She kindly asked me to adopt her 2.5 years ago and she is my personal hero.
CERTIFICATIONS: Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA); Advanced Canine Training & Behavior Specialist – Animal Behavior Institute
FUN FACT: I was a professional singer, actor, and filmmaker before I discovered my calling to work with dogs. Will sing for tips!
TITLE: Trainer
DOGS: Pippa, 1.5 year old English Labrador
EXPERIENCE: 6-7 years daycare and boarding, 1 year vet tech, and 1 year training
CERTIFICATIONS: BHV T.A.P. Level 1
FUN FACT: I enjoy skateboarding and playing video games. My favorite restaurant is Taco Mac.
